Registration: Sat. 8:30am-9:30am

Rounds: Sat. 10:00-2:30-7:00 Sun: 9:00-1:30 or ASAP.

Time Control:   G/120 (with 5 second delay)


 E.F. $18 if received by 8/14,  $3 less for under 18 year olds. $25 for all at the site. Telephone entries accepted. USCF rated and a NWGP event.  $500 prize fund based on 25, Class prizes based on at least five per section. Only one prize per person (Excluding biggest upset.) (Both players must have established ratings)  NS, NC, W. One point bye if requested before proceeding round;  Sunday byes must be requested before the end of round 3.  Director reserves the right to use class pairings in the final round.

Spoecial Event: Spokane Falls Open will be held concurrently with the Spokane City Championship on August 15-16.  Nikolay Bulakh will take on the winner of a six player round-robin that will take place between May 28-August 2.

Two rounds are scheduled  for Saturday while rounds three and four will be scheduled for Sunday.

The time control will be G/2Hr with a 5 second delay. If needed there will be a G/10 playoff with the first to three points wins.

   Location: Schoenberg Center, Room 201, Gonzaga University, N. 900 Pearl St., Spokane (southwest corner of GU campus one block east of Division/Ruby couplet off DeSmet Ave.).


5 round Swiss System. 

Registration: 8:30-9:30, September 26.

Rounds:  10-2:30-7; 9-1:30 or ASAP. 

Time control: Game/120 (d 5).

Entry fee: $21 if received by 9/25, $26 at the door; under 18 $5 less. 

A Northwest Grand Prix Event. $615 prize fund GUARANTEED. Additional classes and class prizes may be created if entries exceed 30 players. Class prizes based on at least 5 per class; classes (and class prizes) may be reconfigured if less than five class entries.  Only one prize per player (except biggest upset). NS, NC, W.  One 1/2 point bye available if requested by end of previous round; Sunday bye must be requested by end of round 3.  Director reserves right to use class pairings in final round.
